We went last night to Spooktacular as a family group of 15 and all had an amazing time! All the security were amazing and friendly. The unlimited bands were worth the money with loads of food vans at reasonable prices for being a major event, comparing what you can spend at the local theme park. I highly recommend going. Both kids and adults had an amazing time. Definitely need to go on the the extreme ride, it was 10/10.

Space Commander (Riders over 1.2m) | From: £15.50
Space Cadet (Riders Under 1.2 metres) | From: £13.00

Non-Rider (Gains you access to the event site. Includes 10 tokens to be be redeemed on rides or prize winning games) | £12.00
Can I buy my wristband at the venue?
Yes, you can! Wristbands are available to buy at the gate on the day – we accept both cash and card. Just a heads-up though: it’s a bit cheaper to grab your tickets online before you arrive, so if you’re looking to save a few pounds, it’s worth booking ahead.
Tickets are sold out online, can I pay on the door?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased at the door but we advise booking your slot to avoid disappointment.
How do I get a carer ticket?
Carers can be issued a PA non-rider ticket free of charge on the door where proof must be shown. If carers wish to go on the rides they must purchase a regular Space Commander wristband online or on the door.
Please ensure the documentation is valid and within date. Documentation we accept is;
-The front page of DLA letter or PIP letter
-The front page of Attendance Allowance letter
-Evidence of being registered as severely sight impaired (blind)
-Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
-Valid Access Card showing you require a +1 to accompany you
What are the session times?
Midweek (Monday – Friday): 6pm – 10pm
Weekends & Bank Holidays: 1pm – 5pm & 6pm – 10pm
What if I am a Non Rider?
Non-Rider tickets are available, which include 10 tokens. These can be used on any rides or prize-winning games.
Rides and games range from 2 to 5 tokens each. You can find the full ride list on our website.
Additional tokens can be purchased on the door at £1.50 each. Prize-winning games also accept cash and card payments.
Please note: prize-winning games are not included with an unlimited ride wristband entry.
Is there food sold at Galactic Carnival Edinburgh?

Are there Halal food options
Yes, there will be halal food options available. However, since all vendors are independent, we recommend double-checking with them directly to ensure their offerings meet your requirements.
Baby Changing Facilities?
Baby Changing facilities are available at Galactic Carnival, and are located in the toilets. Please be aware, you do not need to purchase any vouchers to use the baby changing facilities. All staff will be on hand to guide you to the changing facilities should you need assistance.
Dogs & Pets
Unfortunately, only assistance dogs can enter Galactic Carnival Edinburgh.
The Equality Act 2010, (EA2012 section 173) lays out that an Assistance Dog means:
(a) a dog which has been trained to guide a blind person;
(b) a dog which has been trained to assist a deaf person;
(c) a dog which has been trained by a prescribed charity to assist a disabled person who has a disability that consists of epilepsy or otherwise affects the person’s mobility, manual dexterity, physical coordination or ability to lift, carry or otherwise move everyday objects;
(d) a dog of a prescribed category which has been trained to assist a disabled person who has a disability (other than one falling within paragraph (c)) of a prescribed kind.
You have the right to request the support of your assistance animal on a day-to-day basis. To be permitted entry we will accept ANY valid form of supporting documentation.
No other dogs or pets are permitted in the venue.
First Aid
At Galactic Carnival Edinburgh, our fully trained First Aid staff will be on hand if you need any assistance at all. We will always have a paramedic on site, should you need them. If you do require medical assistance, please contact any stewards or staff at the event and they will assist you.

Height Restrictions
All rides at Galactic Carnival adheres to a height restriction policy to ensure the safety or everyone attending the event. Separate tickets are provided in line with the height restrictions. Please be aware of this when booking your ticket.
